Twins & Cars

Last Friday Eli and I went to the Krause's. Eli had such a great time playing with Drew. The weather was gorgeous, so they got to play outside for awhile, too. I can't believe how big the twins are getting! They are so cute! Got a picture of Ellie.....Abby was mainly on Mommy.

That evening we headed to South Bend to look for a van. Our Murano's lease is about to run out, so we're in need of a new car, and Scott really wants me to get a van. Don't know if I'm ready to be a "Van Mom". After looking for vans we ate at Five Guys...Yum!...then went into the mall. While I was trying on some maternity clothes, Scott decided to surprise me. Check out the picture below! Hilarious!!!! Wish I looked THAT cute while pregnant.

Thomas & Friends

On Thursday night we took Eli to go see Thomas & Friends in Ft. Wayne. We first had dinner at Red Robin. This was our first time going there, and we will definitely go again. Eli loved Red (the Red Robin dressed up bird). He watched him almost the whole meal. The food was really good, too. After dinner we headed to the Memorial Coliseum to see Thomas & Friends. Eli had a blast! It was a little difficult for both Scott and I to sit through, but Eli really enjoyed seeing the trains. Every time they came onto the stage he would yell, "Hi Thomas" or "Hi Percy", etc. It turned out to be a really fun evening.

Zoo Time

On Monday we had our first trip to the zoo this year. It was a beautiful day! Eli and I met Lindsay & Cole Good, Nicole, Lillie & Emma Ditty, and Jen & Taylor Moon there. It was a very busy day, but we had lots of fun! Eli loves going to the zoo and seeing all the animals, however, his favorite is riding the train. Choo choo!

New Playroom

We have been planning for a long time to turn the small room in the basement (exercise/cat room) into a playroom for Eli. Last weekend, Scott took Sunday and did just that. It turned out quite nice and I'm loving the rubber flooring. I especially like that almost all of Eli's toys are down there....really cleaned up the rest of the house. We're planning on going this week to purchase some canvas boxes to organize and some wall decorations to spruce it up a bit. Eli really loves having his own room and has to show it to anyone who comes over.

That Broken Church Update

The church is no more. Here is a picture from over 2 weeks ago, and the 2nd one is what it looks like now. But, of course, Eli still wants to drive past it daily to see if anything new is happening to it.

March for Babies Walk

Yesterday was the March of Dimes March for Babies walk. It turned out to be such a gorgeous day! Our team, Good Twins, ended up earning over $3,000 in donations for the walk! Amazing! Thank you to all who donated and helped out with this cause. We had such a wonderful team...one of the largest, too!

Eli really enjoyed the walk. I thought he'd try to get out of his stroller right away, but he didn't fight it a bit. He loved riding over the bridges and looking at everything downtown. He barely even said a word except to say, "What's that, Mommy?" After the walk, they had food & music. They even had a jumping castle for the kids.

Later that evening the Goods had a cookout at their house for all the team members. The kids played outside, while the men played some basketball (yes, Scott is hurting today) and the women chatted. We had such a nice time. Thank you Chris, Lindsay and Cole for having us over!

Again, thank you to anyone who donated! We appreciate your thoughtfulness!
