Five Generations

Thursday night we went to MeeMaw & PawPaw's house for a dinner with MeeMaw's family. Her 94 year old grandma (Eli's great-great grandma) was in town. We had a delicious dinner and enjoyed the fellowship with family. This picture is of five generations!

Family, Trains, Ice Cream and.....Pigs???

On Tuesday MeeMaw & PawPaw brought ice cream over for all of us. Yum! They came over to visit with Eli. He really enjoyed playing trains with MeeMaw in his room.

Then, Uncle Casey came over to show Eli the pigs that he had bought. They sure pack a lot of them into those crates. So cute, but boy did they smell! Eli liked yelling "oink-oink" at them.

As he usually does, Eli stood at his bedroom window and waved bye-bye to everyone as they drove away. He loves visits from his family!

Eakins House for the ND Game

On Saturday we went to the Eakin's house to watch the Notre Dame game. We won't talk about that loss...ugly. Anyway, last year Eli was still a little too young to play with the kids, but this year he had a blast! He loved playing in the electric jeep and playing in the basement with all the cars & trucks. He was so funny yelling, "Go Irish!" over and over to everyone in the basement. As you can see from the pictures...like father, like son...Eli sure has a way with the ladies. All the girls loved him! Eli had a great time, as did we, with all of our friends.

Fun Fest

Our church, River Oaks, had an family day with lots of games, food, bouncing activities, and music. Eli had so much fun bouncing and going down the big slide. He didn't want to get off of it. We had some yummy food and enjoyed the fellowship with others.

Notre Dame Game...boy, they got lucky...

This year we have season tickets to the Notre Dame games! ND had their first game on Saturday against San Diego State. We went to the Kidder's house to tailgate. Kidders are renting a home near campus while their home is being built. It was a perfect location to hang out before the game. (Also, they were giving away free Chick-Fil-A sandwiches right across the street!) Our seats are across from the students section. They are really good seats! I got some good pictures from where we were. The game ended up being really disappointing. The Irish did not play well and were very lucky to come back and win in the 4th quarter. Hopefully, they'll get the kinks worked out for next week against Michigan! Good luck Irish!

Look what came today...

Eli loves Winne the Pooh, so I couldn't resist buying this cute outfit on Ebay. Thought he would enjoy playing dress up in it. Isn't he adorable?!
