Grandma, Eli & Mommy went to Michigan City last Friday. We ate at Hacienda before shopping at the Outlet Mall. At Hacienda, Eli loved the hand blower. Thought these were funny pictures to add.

A Wiggly Adventure

For Eli's birthday we got tickets to go see the Wiggles in Ft. Wayne. For anyone who does not know, the Wiggles are 4 men from Australia who sing, dance and entertain young kids on a TV show & videos. Eli loves them!!! He even tries to sing a few of their songs. When the show began he was so excited. He was yelling and screaming for them, and he loved the clapping from the audience. After about an hour of the show he started to become restless...luckily the show was only 1 hr. and 1/2. He made it through and even got to hear some of his favorite songs at the end. It was such an enjoyable evening for all of us. Don't tell anyone, but Mommy & Daddy even got into the show. I saw Daddy singing along, too.

I love Eli's reaction when they came out on stage.

Hanging with the Miller Girls

On Friday Eli and I went to Potowatomi Zoo and Chuck-E-Cheese with my friend, Amy, and her girls, Kinsey & Kayla. Eli loved hanging out with Kinsey & Kayla and they were so good with him. I'm sure their ears were ringing at the end of the day from all of Eli's loud screams (he's going through a phase.....at least I hope that's all it is).
Eli enjoyed the animals, but his favorite thing was riding the train. He sat so good! The driver was telling us about the animals we were passing, but Eli was more into the cars & school buses he could see in the parking lot as we went by.
This was Eli's first time at Chuck-E-Cheese and he really enjoyed it. His favorite was the Bob the Builder ride, which he had to do about 5 or 6 times. Other then the rides, he also really liked the stage show. He would run up and dance while they sang. So cute!
We had lots of fun with all the Miller girls and hope we can do something again with them soon. Thanks for hanging with us!!!

Sheboygan, WI Blue Harbor Resort

We had the opportunity to go to the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan, WI again. Scott had a conference at the resort, so Eli and I got to go and play at the water park for the week. The nice thing was Scott didn't have to do a lot of work, so he was able to join us quite a bit. Eli loved the water!!! It's only been about 2 months since we were there before, but you could sure see how Eli has grown. He seemed much more independent. My baby is growing up (too fast)!

Elkhart County 4-H Fair

On Sunday night we went to the Elkhart 4-H Fair with Grandma & Paw Paw. Eli loved petting the animals in the petting zoo. We found Ellie and Abby Hershberger and Eli was able to pet their cows, too. He enjoyed seeing all the tractors and even got to climb in one. After we ate the yummy fair food, Eli got to go on a pony ride. He laughed and laughed and did not want to get off. Can't wait to take him again this week.

Fun with Grandpa & Grandma Joey

Last Monday, Grandpa and Grandma Joey watched Eli for the day. While I spent time on Lake Wawasee with friends, Marcia & Tracie, Eli got to go to the park & beach. Eli loved playing in the sand and water. Grandpa took some cute pictures of him for me to share. Enjoy!

Eli's Swing Set

Grandpa and Grandma Joey bought Eli a swing set. It finally was delivered and put together yesterday. After waiting for 3 hours, Eli finally got to play on it. He loved it! He climbs up the stairs and goes down the slide by himself. He loves making car sounds as he turns the steering wheel. He even enjoyed the swings, glider and tire swing, but he had to be put on all of those. This is going to give Eli hours of outdoor fun! Can't wait to have friends over to play, too. Thank you Grandpa and Grandma Joey! We love you and appreciate the wonderful gift!

Wisconsin Water Park

Wow! I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted! So sorry!

In May we went on a trip to Wisconsin. Scott had to go for work, so we made a family trip out of it. We stayed at the Blue Harbor Resort close to Sheboygan. It was beautiful! The water park was so much fun! It was the biggest one I've ever seen, and it was extremely clean. Eli loved splashing in the water and going down the small slides. He never got tired of it! We will definitely return there someday.
