Hanging with the Graves

Our final destination in Texas was to Georgetown (a suburb of Austin). My Aunt Rebecca, Uncle Ty, Cousin Christian and Nana all live there. We had so much fun with them!

Our first evening we got to celebrate Christian's birthday! Can't believe how grown up he is now! He'll be in college next year!!! Time goes so fast!

The next day we got a tour around Austin. Uncle Ty took us to see some of the hot spots and the University of Texas. Austin is such a cool city!

That evening we went to a real Texas dance hall! It was one of Christian's best friend's birthday, too, so the boys chose to celebrate at this dance hall. It was so much fun! Eli LOVED it!!! We couldn't get him off the dance floor! So cute!

San Antonio Children's Museum

On our last day in San Antonio we took Eli that afternoon to the San Antonio Children's Museum. The museum was having a special afternoon. They normally close at 4:00, but this day they were open from 4:00 to 7:00 and kids were free! This museum was awesome! Eli loved pretending he was a pilot in a plane, pretending to grocery shop, playing in the water and many, many other things. I think his favorite was driving the Bobcat and picking up and dumping rocks. Pretty cool!

San Antonio

We just returned from our family vacation to Texas. We had so much fun spending a few days in San Antonio, then heading to Georgetown (a suburb of Austin) to visit my Aunt Rebecca, Uncle Ty, Cousin Christian and Nana. We have so many pictures that I'd like to share so I'll need to do a few posts to show them.

When we got to San Antonio we first ate at the Rainforest Cafe (Eli had never been to one). The food was okay, but Eli loved looking at all the animals and was especially excited to find a rainbow. We then walked around the River Walk and mall all afternoon before eating at Joe's Crab Shack (one of our favorite places) that evening.

The next day we spent visiting the Alamo. We then took the river boat tour of the River Walk. Eli loved it & the boat driver loved joking around with Eli. He asked Eli how old he was, then asked when he would turn four, and Eli answered, "After I'm 3." It was priceless.

The Real Team Picture

Here is the real team picture taken by the professional. Turned out pretty good! It's a little blurry due to Scott taking a picture of the actual picture.

Team Pictures

Eli had soccer pictures of his team. This was a big process to get all the kids to stay still and smile. We have not received the professional one yet, but here is one that Lindsay Good took. Also, a few pictures from the practice and game.

Aunt Karen Comes for a Visit

My dad's sister, Karen, came for a short visit. This was the first time she got to meet Jayce. We went to a nice dinner at Mad Anthony's then headed back to my dad's house. It was a nice little visit and Eli had fun entertaining her.

Valentine's Day 3-D

This year on Valentine's Day Scott took me to go see Avatar in 3-D. It was a movie that I didn't know if I really wanted to see, but I heard that you have to see it in the theater and how good it was. I'm so glad I did....it was awesome! Such a beautiful movie!

Before we left, Eli got out his 3-D glasses and had some fun. He cracked me up asking, "Can I wear these tonight?" and "Do I look good?" I just had to get some pictures! Love that little guy!

Daddy's Basketball Game

On Monday nights Scott plays in a basketball league in Goshen. Eli really enjoys going to the games because he gets to play with his buddy, Cole. The boys enjoy walking back and forth on the bleachers, playing with their cars and even coloring. I enjoy it, too, because I get some time to chat with Cole's mom, Lindsay. Sometimes we realize that we never even watched the game....oops!

We are the Retrievers!!!

Eli got his new soccer shirt at practice last night. His team is called the Retrievers.

Eli did much better with chasing the ball, but he was a little more into entertaining Grandma, Paw Paw, Uncle Shawn and Uncle Casey, who all came to watch him play. His favorite thing is just to run around the court. Hopefully, by the end of the clinic he'll actually enjoy soccer.

Eli's biggest fan!

He's Got Moves

Sunday night while watching the Grammys, Eli started his dancing moves when one of his favorite songs was played, "Tonight's Gonna be a Good Night". Glad Scott had his phone close by to get a video. Hilarious! (Pretty sure he got his moves from Daddy)
