Eli's Swing Set

Grandpa and Grandma Joey bought Eli a swing set. It finally was delivered and put together yesterday. After waiting for 3 hours, Eli finally got to play on it. He loved it! He climbs up the stairs and goes down the slide by himself. He loves making car sounds as he turns the steering wheel. He even enjoyed the swings, glider and tire swing, but he had to be put on all of those. This is going to give Eli hours of outdoor fun! Can't wait to have friends over to play, too. Thank you Grandpa and Grandma Joey! We love you and appreciate the wonderful gift!

Wisconsin Water Park

Wow! I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted! So sorry!

In May we went on a trip to Wisconsin. Scott had to go for work, so we made a family trip out of it. We stayed at the Blue Harbor Resort close to Sheboygan. It was beautiful! The water park was so much fun! It was the biggest one I've ever seen, and it was extremely clean. Eli loved splashing in the water and going down the small slides. He never got tired of it! We will definitely return there someday.

Bike Riding

Last week we bought Eli a new bike. Kidder's recently got one for Grace, and when we saw it we knew it would be perfect for Eli, too. He loves being outside and riding. This bike is so cool because the adult can control the way it turns. Eli doesn't even have to peddle! He loves going out for bike rides and feeling like a big boy!

Playing in the Sprinklers

Monday afternoon, Uncle Casey & Uncle Shawn came over to play with Eli. Scott just finished mowing the lawn, so he wanted to turn on the sprinklers. Eli loves to play outside, and when he saw the sprinklers, he just couldn't resist. With the encouragement of his uncles he continued to run through them getting soaked. I had to take pictures. He was having a ball! As you can see, his shorts were a little big on him and ended up falling down. Hilarious!

Happy Birthday Brad & Sharyl!

On Saturday we joined the Smith family for a delicious dinner at Columbo's for Brad and Sharyl's birthday. Eli and Olivia loved sitting next to one another. They shared crackers and toys and actually played well together. After our dinner, Michelle pulled out a yummy cake. Olivia loved singing "Happy Birthday" to Brad and to her grandma Sharyl. Eli enjoyed the song, too, especially the clapping at the end. We had a great time being together! Thank you for the invite and hope to see you again soon! Wish we lived closer! Miss you!

Day at the Rodriguez's

On Saturday we went to Diego & Leo's pancake breakfast at their preschool, then went to the Rodriguez house for the day. Eli played with his cousins & their friends while Mommy visited with Aunt Keli, and Daddy went golfing with Uncle Pablo. Eli loved riding in their jeep. This is a picture of Leo driving Eli around their back yard. We ended the afternoon having some yummy brats on the grill! Thanks for the fun day!

Nashville, Tennessee

We took a trip to Nashville, TN to visit Aunt Kiki, Uncle Popsy, Cousin Nate, Cousin Abi, Keaton, Aunt Dana, and Uncle David. We had so much fun! We enjoyed time with family, went to the outlet mall, went to the zoo, and ate delicious food. Eli loves cars, so all he wanted to do is be outside to watch the cars. It's become an obsession! Aunt Kiki and Uncle Popsy even watched Eli so Mommy and Daddy could have a night out on the town. We ended our trip by going to Uncle David and Aunt Dana's new church, where we got to hear Cousin Nate's girlfriend, Bethany, sing....she was amazing! It was such a great time! We love you and hope to see everyone again real soon! Thanks for everything!

New outfit

Daddy bought Eli this new Nike outfit. He was so exicited to put him in it. Doesn't he look cute? He's so grown up!
