Lovin' These Sunny Days

The weather was beautiful today, so it was the perfect day to head to the park! We met Lindsay & Cole at the Wakarusa Park for some play time. The boys had a great time swinging, sliding, running around and eating (lots of snacks were packed)!!! We will probably be visiting this park quite a few times this summer....absolutely love it!

Later, when Daddy got home from work we spent more time outside washing & cleaning out our cars. My van REALLY needed it! Eli loved helping, especially spraying with the hose. Jayce did great, too, just watching everything. He spent a lot of time giggling at his big brother. Love it! It was such a great day to be outside in the sunny weather! Hope it's like this all summer!

Big Foot...Vroom! Vroom!

Last weekend Big Foot was at the Monteith Tire in Wakarusa. This is totally not something I am into, but Eli loves this stuff, so we went. We met up with Uncle Shawn and Uncle Casey to go watch Big Foot crush some cars. Got to say, I was pretty impressed. Couldn't believe how high Big Foot could jump! Eli got the opportunity to sit on one of the huge tires, too! I think Eli really loved it, however, he wasn't too fond of the noise. When the truck revved it's engine, it was extremely loud. Luckily, Uncle Shawn brought ear phones for Jayce....don't think he heard a thing!

Putt Putt with the Goods

Last weekend we went to Putt Putt Golf & Games in Mishawaka with the Goods. Eli had never played Putt Putt before, so he was so excited to try it for the first time! It was a nice evening out and we were so surprised how well Eli did! I think we have a natural!

Happy Birthday Grace!

Eli's little "girlfriend", Grace Kidder, turned 4 years old this month!!! Eli wanted to sing a little song for her to celebrate her birthday. We love you, Grace!!! Happy Birthday!

Rolling Over

For the last few weeks Jayce has been rolling over! He goes after everything! However, when he gets over he doesn't like to be on his tummy very long. Take a look at the video to see his new development.

Preschool Tea Party

At the end of the preschool year Eli's class had a tea party. The kids were allowed to invite any family members to come for tea (was really water) and cookies. Also, the kids sang a few songs, said a prayer and received a booklet with pictures, a few crafts and an award for the year. It was so cute! We loved his teachers, Miss Jen and Miss Missy! They were wonderful with him and they said Eli always put a smile on their face! So proud of my little student!

Outdoor Soccer Pics

Last week was picture night for Eli's soccer team. Eli was all smiles for his pictures (Daddy, too)! Love it!

Waky Playground

We went to the new Wakarusa Playground recently with the Marrs, the Barhydts, and both of the Moyer families for a playdate. This playground is so nice! They even have a nice picnic area! It was a gorgeous day and Eli had so much fun playing with all the kids, and Jayce loved being outside, too! We will definitely go back soon!

Happy Mother's Day to Me

Scott got a new toy, the IPad, a few weeks ago. Eli has loved playing on it and reading stories. Scott helped Eli make me a note on it for Mother's Day and they emailed it to me. So cute! Eli was so proud of all the pictures he added to it! Thank you, Eli!!!! I love you!!

Santi's Baptism

My nephew, Santiago, was baptized last Sunday at St. Pius Church in Granger. Santi didn't even cry a bit! We then went back to Keli & Pablo's house for food and family time. It was so nice to be together! And Eli had so much fun playing with his cousins!

Congratulations, Santi! We love you!

Strikes & Spares AND Go-Carts!!!!!

Last weekend we went to a place in Mishawaka called Strikes & Spares. Inside is a bowling ally (kid-friendly), a black light putt-putt room, many games and GO-CARTS! Our friends, Nathan & Kayla, met us for the evening.

Eli played his first game of bowling. These lanes had rails that could be put up for the kids, and they even had a ramp to help roll the ball. Eli loved it, especially when the ball made a big "bang" when he threw it on the lane. And he was SO excited when he would knock the pins down! Cute, cute, cute!
Then, it was go-cart time! Eli had such a blast!!!! They had a smaller go-cart area for the kids to drive and a bigger area for the adults to drive (and kids could ride with them). Eli did so well driving the go-cart! He is a natural! Think he was laughing every time he passed us. He then rode in a big go-cart with Daddy, and for his 2nd time he rode with Kayla (Check out the video below! You can even see Daddy & Nathan goofing around!). All had such a great time! What an awesome place, perfect for Eli, that we'll definitely return to!
