For Eli's birthday we went to the Ft. Wayne Zoo. I think this may become a tradition since we did the same thing last year. On the way there we stopped at Burger King for lunch, and Eli had some play time in the play area. He loved it, and it was very hard to get him to leave (even had a few tears).Eli went on all the rides at the zoo. He rode the sky rider (this scared Mommy to death) with Daddy. He actually did very well. Eli had a pony ride on a pony named Trish. Also, we went on the log ride, then finished up with a train ride, which I think was Eli's favorite. Eli enjoyed the water areas at the zoo, too. He was soaked! Luckily, we remembered to bring another outfit just in case. It was a fun day!
That evening Mee Maw, Paw Paw, Uncle Casey and Uncle Shawn came over for pizza & cake. Eli enjoyed eating his cake by himself, and did very well. Most of it actually ended up in his mouth! Eli also got his birthday gift from Mee Maw & Paw Paw. They got him a police car and a fun race car rug. I know Eli had a wonderful birthday!!!
